Overview:
At Midwest Dental, supported by Smile Brands, we believe exceptional patient care starts the moment a patient walks through our doors. Our Weston office is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Patient Care Coordinator who is passionate about creating positive experiences and helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and supported throughout every visit.
As a key member of our team, you'll create a warm and welcoming environment while supporting patient scheduling, communication, insurance coordination, and the day-to-day operations of the practice. This is a unique cross-training opportunity where approximately 75% of your training and responsibilities will focus on becoming a Dental Assistant, with the remaining 25% dedicated to Patient Care Coordinator/front office duties.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient interaction and hands-on clinical work and is excited to develop skills in both areas.

No dental experience? No problem! We're willing to train the right candidate with a strong customer service background, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn both the clinical and administrative sides of a dental practice.
Schedule (days/hours): 7 am to 5 pm, Monday - Thursday Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and a positive first impression

Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately

Schedule appointments and coordinate daily patient flow to support an exceptional office experience

Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with questions regarding coverage and payment options

Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and provide outstanding customer service

Support treatment acceptance by helping patients understand next steps and financial arrangements

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times

Partner closely with doctors, hygienists, and team members to deliver seamless patient care

Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting
Compensation: $20-$24/hour About:
