Weekend Daytime and Nighttime House Manager

Living Stone Sober Living is seeking a qualified, dependable, and professional Weekend Daytime and Nighttime House Manager to supervise and support adult male residents in a structured recovery residence.
The House Manager plays an important role in maintaining a safe, respectful, substance-free, and recovery-focused living environment. This position supports residents in meeting program expectations, strengthening personal accountability, and working toward long-term stability and successful community reintegration.
Applicants are required to be comfortable maintaining professional boundaries, consistently enforcing program rules, conducting inspections, responding to resident needs, and working with individuals involved in the criminal justice system.
Compensation
This is a W-2 payroll position. Compensation will be based on the selected applicant’s qualifications and relevant experience.
Exact work hours, compensation, and scheduling details will be discussed during the interview.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise and support residents during assigned weekend daytime or nighttime shifts.
- Maintain a safe, structured, respectful, substance-free, and recovery-focused living environment.
- Consistently enforce house rules, curfews, visitor policies, and program expectations.
- Encourage resident accountability, healthy decision-making, and continued participation in recovery-related activities.
- Conduct and properly document urine analysis testing.
- Complete shift notes, incident reports, and other required documentation accurately and promptly.
- Monitor resident behavior and compliance with program requirements.
- Conduct room and property inspections as required.
- Promptly report emergencies, incidents, positive urine analysis results, and significant rule violations to management.
- Respond appropriately to resident needs, concerns, conflicts, and emergencies.
- Use professional communication, sound judgment, appropriate boundaries, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Protect the confidentiality of resident and program information.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe residence.
- Follow all Living Stone Sober Living policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid California driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and meet applicable CDCR clearance requirements.
- Availability to work weekend daytime or nighttime shifts.
- Basic computer, email, and documentation skills.
- Dependability, professionalism, patience, and the ability to maintain appropriate boundaries.
- Ability to work respectfully and effectively with justice-involved individuals and people in recovery.
- Ability to remain calm, exercise sound judgment, and respond appropriately during challenging situations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in sober living, recovery housing, behavioral health, substance use treatment, corrections, reentry services, or a related field.
- Experience conducting and documenting urine analysis testing.
- Knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery support services, and community resources.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
