Provide a clean, safe, positive environment for students by taking care of buildings and carrying out cleaning, maintenance and security duties.
Responsibilities
- Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with coworkers and staff as a positive team member
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Landscaping including mowing and weed-eating
Requirements
- Ability to handle mowing equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with safety procedures
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- High school degree or equivalent
