The Academy of Music and Art is seeking an energetic and passionate Voice Teacher for our 2026 Summer Camps! If you love working with children and enjoy musical theatre, pop music, and performing arts, we’d love to hear from you.

We are a fun, family-focused performing arts school located in Westmont, IL. We work primarily with children, teens, and beginner performers in a positive, supportive environment where students can build confidence, creativity, and a love for the arts.
Summer Camp Dates
- Voice Camp: Wicked Edition — June 22–26
- K-Pop Camp — July 27–31
Position Details
- Job Type: Part-time / Seasonal
- Schedule: Monday through Friday
- Hours: Typically 9:45 AM – 2:45 PM
- Location: Westmont, IL
Please note: We are located in the western suburbs of Chicago. While the distance may appear close, traffic can significantly increase commute times. Applicants should ensure the commute is manageable before applying.Responsibilities
- Teach voice and singing classes as part of summer camp programs
- Work with students ages 6–17 in a fun, encouraging environment
- Help students develop confidence, stage presence, and vocal technique
- Assist with camp performances and showcases
- Collaborate with other camp teachers and staff
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate about teaching voice and musical theatre
- Comfortable working with children and teens of varying experience levels
- Energetic, positive, and dependable
- Experience teaching voice lessons, musical theatre, choir, or group singing classes preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills

Compensation
- Summer camp pay: $500 per week
- Additional opportunities for private lessons and musical theatre work may be available
