Job Summary
Schrepple Construction, LLC is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Project Manager with a strong background in construction to lead and oversee sheet metal projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise in project management, construction estimating, and sheet metal fabrication will drive project success while maintaining safety and quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage complex construction initiatives and collaborate with diverse teams to deliver outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of sheet metal/HVAC construction projects.
- Coordinate with field crews, foreman, and subcontractors.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals.
- Track job costs, change orders, and billing.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Oversee procurement of materials, and equipment.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of construction site operations and heavy equipment usage related to sheet metal installation.
- Support the development of team members by providing guidance on schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and technical problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- 3+ years of experience in managing sheet metal or HVAC construction projects within a commercial or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent contract management skills with a clear understanding of contracts law within the construction industry.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated ability in project coordination, time management, and multitasking in fast-paced environments.
- Knowledge of safety protocols specific to construction sites involving sheet metal fabrication and installation practices.
