Duties
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, and extractions with precision and care.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, dental charts, and radiographs to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Utilize Dentrix for accurate medical documentation and record keeping while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Execute dental extractions using aseptic techniques to maintain infection control standards.
- Deliver endodontics, prosthodontics, and other restorative treatments with attention to detail and quality.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment by following infection control protocols, managing medical imaging procedures, and adhering to OSHA guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize patient flow and comfort during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
Qualifications
- Valid state dental license
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds including pediatrics; experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
