Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport furniture, equipment, and other items using appropriate manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and dollies
- Operate various types of vehicles including box trucks, cargo vans, or personal vehicles for delivery or moving purposes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Assist with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit
- Communicate effectively with customers to coordinate delivery or move schedules, answer questions, and provide exceptional service
- Follow safe lifting practices to handle heavy or bulky items while minimizing risk of injury
- Load and unload items efficiently while maintaining organization within warehouse operations or during route driving
- Use mobile devices or GPS systems for route navigation and delivery updates
Experience
- Prior warehouse experience or experience in moving services preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Proven delivery driver experience with a clean driving record is highly desirable
- Familiarity with commercial truck driving, manual transmission vehicles, and driving large vehicles such as box trucks or courier vans is a plus
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling equipment operation (e.g., pallet jacks), and heavy lifting techniques is beneficial
- Ability to adhere to DOT regulations, traffic laws, and safety procedures consistently
- Experience working with mobile devices for route management or communication is advantageous
