About the Role
As a Nurse Practitioner, you'll play a key role in helping patients regain mobility, improve function, and reduce pain through comprehensive evaluations, individualized treatment plans, and ongoing care management.
You'll work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated, patient-centered care while developing lasting relationships with your patients.
Responsibilities Include
- Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical examinations, and pain assessments
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies and imaging
- Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with Arizona regulations and practice protocols
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and realistic expectations
- Coordinate care with physicians, behavioral health providers, and physical therapists to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the EMR
- Deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining quality, compliance, and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Nurse Practitioner license (or ability to obtain)
- Board Certification as an FNP, AGNP, or other applicable Nurse Practitioner certification
- Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Two or more years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
- Candidates with a strong RN background and at least two years of NP experience are encouraged to apply
- Experience in pain management, orthopedics, PM&R, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, or another outpatient specialty is highly valued
- Excellent communication, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented outpatient practice
