Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part-time Older Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in the age group of 24 to 48 months. Your focus will be assisting in the fostering of developmental growth, supporting social-emotional skills, and ensuring a safe, engaging space where young learners can explore and thrive. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children’s lives.
The hours for this position are either M-F 8a-10a or M-F 3p-6p. This is a 12 month position. No summer or winter break only applicants please.
Duties
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including motor skills, language, and socialization.
- Provide attentive toddler care by supervising children during play, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities.
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
- Support children with behavioral management techniques that encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation.
- Communicate with parents upon drop off.
- Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive learning experience and share best practices in classroom management.
- Assist with classroom setup and organization of teaching materials.
Requirements
- Prior experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in daycare, childcare, babysitting, or early childhood education preferred.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
- Ability to work part-time hours reliably while maintaining flexibility for additional scheduling needs.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
