*Job Overview*
We are seeking a PT, COTR/L who is certified as a Lymphedema Therapist or who has a strong desire to become certified.
We offer training within our facility for those not yet certified, prior to formal course work and training with a certified Lymphatic school program.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various therapeutic practices ie, decongestive manual lymphatic drainage, short stretch compression bandaging technique, remedial exercises and wound / skin care recommendations,
This role involves performing evaluations, developing individualized care plans to help patients improve their physical function and overall well-being, take measurements and fit for proper garments,. The Therapist will work closely with patients to assess their needs, implement treatment strategies, and monitor progress throughout their rehabilitation journey.
*Responsibilities*
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their therapy needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient assessments and create both short and long term goals.
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including short stretch compression bandaging, Kinesiotaping.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and home exercises.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care in settings such as hospitals and home community care environments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatment progress and outcomes.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in clinical practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
*Requirements*
- Valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist. Enrollment with accredited Lymphedema School teaching the Vodder Technique certification.
- Experience or knowledge in lymphedema / Lipidedema therapy..
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Familiarity with therapy systems and best practices for developing effective care plans.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on patient-centered care.

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 35.0 per week
