- Assumes the role of the Project Manager in his/her absence.

Assist the Project Manager with maintaining staff timesheets and approve/make recommendations regarding employee personnel actions. Insures that time studies are conducted in accordance with federal law and OTC policies and procedures.

Assists the Project Manager with training staff in janitorial methods, procedures and in the proper operation of equipment.

May assist the Project Manager with purchasing and tracking inventory of janitorial supplies and equipment. Insure equipment is properly secured, maintained and utilized.

Assists with organizing work schedules and assigning personnel in order to meet cleaning tasks and frequencies as required by the Statement of Work.

Establish and maintain a professional level of communication with key customer contacts and participates in periodic meetings and negotiations.

Ensure immediate access to emergency services in the case of life threatening emergencies in full compliance with Danielle’s Law.

May assist with conducting continuous quality control inspections as required by the contract statement of work and develops/executes corrective actions to address identified deficiencies in a timely manner.

Report and document any damages to government equipment or facility.

Assists with maintaining site security and safety.

May occasionally assist in completing assigned schedules in the absence of a supervisor.

Performs other duties as assigned and adheres to the regulations outlined in the Statement of Work.

Willingly and effectively cooperates with OTC, The Department of Human Services, The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), and other licensing or state agency or local municipalities in any inspections and investigations, upon request.

- Minimum of two years (2) experience in janitorial services.
-
Working knowledge of janitorial techniques, machinery and chemicals.
-
Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.

Knowledge of supplies, equipment, purchasing and inventory control.
-
Intermediate computer skills.
-
Strong interpersonal, time management, detail oriented and organizational skills.

Attention to detail including control log, safety and security measures and implementation.

Ability to monitor and/or maintain quality control standards.
-
Acceptable background check and Drug Test.

Valid driver license with acceptable driving record as set by OTC’s Insurance Carrier.

Under the direction of the Project Manager Janitorial, manages and coordinates the daily activities of assigned janitorial service employees at a Government Contract Division worksite. Responsibilities include direct supervision of staff and individuals with disabilities, planning and developing staffing schedules and insuring overall quality control in conformance with all contract terms and conditions and/or statement of work.
