Overview
Our Lady of the Rosary school is looking for a Kindergarten teacher for the 2026-27 school year.
We are looking for a teacher to build a strong academic and social-emotional foundation for our youngest learners and create an environment where students develop a love for learning.
Responsibilities
- Create a classroom environment of age-appropriate activities.
- Implement differentiated instruction to grow successful learners.
- Develop strong relationships with students, staff and families.
- Monitor student progress regularly using assessment tools and standardized testing data; adjust teaching strategies accordingly to support each child's growth.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management techniques, creating a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum implementation, share best practices in teaching young children, and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- All applicants must possess a valid Ohio teaching license
- Proven experience teaching young children in early childhood or elementary school settings; private school experience is a plus.
