We are seeking a reliable, skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to oversee all maintenance operations for a 59‑unit community. This is a solo technician role, ideal for someone who is organized, self‑motivated, and confident managing the maintenance needs of a property independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily work orders, unit turns, and preventative maintenance
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance issues
- Complete make‑ready tasks to ensure units meet move‑in standards
- Maintain grounds, common areas, and curb appeal
- Respond to emergency maintenance needs
- Communicate professionally with residents, vendors, and management
- Track materials, supplies, and maintenance logs
- Ensure safety, compliance, and property standards are consistently met
Qualifications
- 2+ years of apartment or facilities maintenance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance trades
- HVAC certification required (EPA Type I/II or Universal)
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
