As a Test Automation Architect, you lead the design, development, and implementation of test automation strategies for our IV&V program. You ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through robust and efficient test automation. You collaborate with development and QA teams to build and maintain a cutting-edge test automation framework that supports continuous integration and delivery. Your role is critical in driving our commitment to excellence and innovation in software testing.
- Develops and implements the overall test automation strategy and roadmap for multiple products (lines of business)

Designs and maintains a scalable and robust test automation frameworks using modern technologies.

Leads the creation and execution of automated test scripts for API testing, microservices testing, and UI testing

Integrates test automation into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous testing

Collaborates with development teams to implement best practices for testability and automation

Oversees the testing of applications deployed in containerized cloud environments

Provides technical guidance and mentorship to other test automation engineers

Evaluates and recommends new testing tools and technologies to improve IV&V efficiency and effectiveness.

Ensures compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Strong understanding of modern software architecture patterns including microservices, SOA, even-driven architecture, and cloud- native applications

Knowledge of security architecture concepts including authentication/authorization, Zero Trust, encryption, and secure API testing

Proficiency in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python

Expertise in conducting Analysis of Alternative (AoA) for test automation solutions

Solid understanding of API testing tools/frameworks (REST Assured, SOAP UI, Postman)

Proficiency with Git

Knowledge of containerized and orchestration platforms

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
-
Minimum of 8 years of experience in test automation.
-
Proven experience designing and implementing scaleable enterprise test automation architectures across distributed systems and APIs.
-
Ability to analyze application architecture diagrams, data flows, integration points, and system dependencies to define comprehensive automation strategies.

Experience supporting CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines in cloud environments
-
Familiarity with enterprise integration technologies including REST/SOAP APIs, message queues, ETL/data pipelines, and asynchronous processing
-
Experience validating architectures involving AWS and/or Azure cloud services
-
Understanding of test automation considerations for scalable and secure systems.

Ability to collaborate with Solution Architects, DevOps Engineers, Developers, Cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to align automation frameworks with enterprise architecture standards

Experience supporting automated testing across UI, API, database, middleware, batch processing, and cloud services layers

Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools used in enterprise environments
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience with Performance Testing- LoadRunner, JMeter

Experience with Salesforce test automation- Provar
-
Experience with implementing AI-Driven test automation solutions

Certifications in test automation, software architecture or related areas.
