Design electrical and control systems for automation projects using AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical

Create schematics, panel layouts, IO lists, and cable schedules

Develop BOMs, drawings, and complete design packages for release

Select and specify hardware and components for automated systems

Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams

Support builds, troubleshooting, and commissioning as needed

Help develop and maintain standard components and CAD libraries

Contribute to improving design efficiency, accuracy, and overall system performance
Required:

4-year degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
- 3–5+ years of experience in electrical design for industrial automation or controls

Experience designing electrical schematics for PLC-based systems

Experience with industrial control panel design

Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and/or SolidWorks Electrical

Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA, or UL508A standards
Preferred:

Experience with system integration, robotics, or automated equipment

Knowledge of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, etc.)

Experience supporting projects from concept through completion
