Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on products and design services
- Assist customers with product selection by helping with measurements, answering questions, ringing up sales, and safely getting furniture from display to their vehicle
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and keep everything clean, fresh and appealing
- Provide excellent customer service via in-person interactions and phone communication
- Support e-commerce operations by assisting with online inquiries or purchase pickups when needed
Qualifications
- Previous retail work experience and familiarity in offering excellent customer service is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills in English
- Knowledge of POS systems, retail math, and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth transactions
- Passion for interior design and home furnishings with a keen eye for eye catching displays
- Friendly and outgoing personality, comfortable with engaging with customers and making them feel welcome and cared for. The ability to maintain a positive attitude during difficult situations.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage merchandising displays efficiently
- Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in person and over the phone
