Duties
- Stock shelves and displays with retail store products, ensuring accurate placement and organization according to merchandising standards
- Operate material handling equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling tools safely and efficiently
- Manage inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, updating inventory management systems, and reporting discrepancies
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by loading and unloading shipments, verifying shipment accuracy, and maintaining shipping documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area to promote safety and efficiency
- Support packaging tasks for outgoing products and prepare items for shipment or storage
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries about product locations or stock availability in a friendly manner
Experience
- Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience is highly preferred
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and stock control procedures
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as RF scanners, pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual handling tools
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and inventory control tasks
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer needs
- Knowledge of safe lifting practices and manual handling techniques to prevent injuries during heavy lifting tasks
- Experience working in fast-paced environments like grocery stores or retail outlets is advantageous
