The Social Media Manager is the visual storyteller behind our brand. You'll work directly with our sales and project teams to capture authentic, engaging short-form video content across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
Your role is to film real transformations, showcase our team culture, document customer testimonials, and capture the remodeling process in ways that educate and inspire. This is a hands-on position with significant field time and tremendous growth potential—start as an intern, grow into a paid content creator role, and build a portfolio that launches your creative career.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Own smartphone or personal camera for filming
- Reliable transportation to travel to job sites
- Physical ability to work on construction/remodeling job sites
- Strong desire to learn content creation and video production
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Some filming or TikTok content creation experience
- Familiarity with video editing software (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, etc.)
- Active social media presence or content creation background
- Experience in the home improvement, construction, or real estate industries
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
- Consistent, high-quality video footage with proper composition and lighting
- Timely delivery of edited content ready for social media posting
- Professional communication with team members and customers on job sites
- Reliability and consistency in hours and deliverables
- Openness to feedback and continuous improvement
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- In-office work with flexible scheduling around business needs
- ~50% of time on active remodeling job sites, including standing, walking, and maneuvering in various environments
- Ability to carry camera equipment safely
- Must be comfortable around construction environments and adhere to job site safety protocols
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
