Our coaching philosophy centers around People, Purpose, Progress, and Performance, and we teach the five essential elements of ninja: speed, power, endurance, control, and mental focus. As a Ninja Flex Coach, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the minds and characters of young athletes while helping them achieve their physical goals.
What You’ll Do:
- Co-teach Ninja classes using our structured, level-up curriculum for students of all ages and skill levels.
- Assist the head coach with classes and eventually run your own class
- Provide hands-on coaching, emphasizing proper technique, safety, and progression.
- Create a safe, positive, and fun learning environment that encourages both physical and mental growth.
- Act as a mentor, fostering confidence, teamwork, and resilience in every athlete.
- Maintain a clean and organized facility, ensuring all equipment is safe and functional.
- Engage with families, providing progress updates and celebrating achievements.
- Collaborate with fellow coaches to continually improve class offerings and training techniques.
- Track attendance and skills progression for each ninja participating in classes using specific software.
- Facilitate totally awesome birthday parties running games, instruction, and making sure the birthday ninja is having an unforgettable time.

Qualifications:
- Passion for working with kids and a commitment to their development. You will be working with 3 years old up to 16 years old ninjas.
- Experience in coaching, teaching, or youth sports (gymnastics, martial arts, parkour, or similar is a bonus).
- Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset.
- Physical ability to demonstrate skills, set up equipment, and provide hands-on spotting.
- A desire to learn and grow as a coach and mentor.
- Ideal candidates will bring a lot of energy to each class, be able to connect with kids and deliver the Forest Flyers experience each day.
- Must be 16 or older with reliable transportation. Must pass reference and background check.
- Bonus: We are looking for someone that wants to learn the sport of ninja themselves and push themselves on the course to become a better athlete.
Schedule:
- Weekday afternoons and evenings 4:45pm - 9:00pm
- Weekend availability for classes, events, and birthday parties. This can range on Saturdays 8:45am - 5:00pm and Sundays 9:30am - 3:00pm
Compensation:
- Starting wage of $15.00/ hr with quarterly reviews for pay increases
