Peraton seeks a Cyber Data Analyst / Coordinator to support of Department of Defense Cyber Defense Command (DCDC) Readiness and Security Inspection (DRSI). This program executes DOWIN inspections, assessments, evaluations, validations, DCO-IDM missions, self-assessments, and audit regimens. Location: Fort Meade, MD.
Tasks include:
- Serve as the primary cyber defense data point of contact on data generated and stored from various types of assessments, including the CORA, CSSP, and PKI Audit programs.
- Conduct data analytics:
- Provide SME input for the planning and execution of operational studies, focusing on data trend analysis, systemic risk identification, and root cause evaluation. Identify trends and forecast potential cybersecurity threats and risks based on historical assessment data.
- Perform operational research on DoD cyber and technology-related topics to aid decision-making. Report analysis findings and provide analytic judgments and recommendations to guide senior leader decision-making, risk acceptance, and resource prioritization.
- Produce reports that aggregate component-level findings on remediation efforts and trend analysis, in addition to specific findings regarding risks, recurring deficiencies, and mission assurance.
- Review/provide input on assessment methodologies, executive summaries, and other reporting documentation.
Target Salary Range: $146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
