Overview-
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Assistant Manager to join our team in a fast-paced hospitality and entertainment environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, an ability to work with students, and a passion for customer service, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional experience. This role involves supporting the Theatre manager in overseeing daily operations, marketing, supervising student staff, and maintaining high standards of service within our theatre.
This job may move to more hours, or possibly even full time if needed in future months/years.
Duties-
Assist the Manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.- Supervise student staff on occasion.
- Be the front of house coordinator (ticket sales, advertisement, marketing, social media)
- Be the Event Rental Liaison between the event’s coordinator and the Theatre Manager (Create estimates/invoices, create contracts, send out rental policies, update budget sheet when an event pays, and other needs for rentals)- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, providing excellent customer service to enhance guest satisfaction.- Occasionally oversee shift management, ensuring that all operational tasks are completed effectively.- Prepare reports on customer feedback for management review.- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the venue, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the theatre
