Are you a recent welding graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in the field? We have an immediate opening for you as a Welder Apprentice at our Lamar, MO facility.
Join our professional production team at Fairway Aluminum Solutions where you'll put your welding knowledge into practice while learning from experienced professionals. This is a fantastic chance to enhance your skills, build your resume, and gain valuable on-the-job experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with welding and fabrication tasks under professional supervision
- Set up and operate MIG welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring devices
- Read and interpret shop drawings to fabricate aluminum materials
- Follow strict safety protocols as part of our Zero-Incident Safety Culture
- Maintain work area and equipment cleanliness as per our 5S Program
- Operate D365 tablets and scanners to track materials and progress
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiarity with MIG welding; aluminum welding experience is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and basic math/measuring skills
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
