American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Float Pool Med/Surg Tele position requiring cardiac experience and a MA RN license, working nights on a 12-week contract.

Float pool position based out of the McCann unit, covering Med/Surg Tele and Tele units including medical, surgical, and observation patients
-
Travelers may be placed across two different units within a single 12-hour shift based on census and staffing needs
-
Float pool is staffed alongside PCAs and OAs, with placement determined during bed meetings
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Every other weekend coverage required

Charting via Cerner EMR
-
Active MA RN license required
-
Current certifications: BLS and ACLS

Minimum 2–3 years of RN experience required

Cardiac nursing experience required
-
Med/Surg Tele or Tele unit experience required

Epic or Cerner EMR experience required

First-time travelers are welcome to apply with the appropriate experience

The facility uses the Avasure video monitoring system, which can monitor up to 12 patients simultaneously — float pool nurses may be asked to cover the Avasure office and relieve the assigned monitor tech for breaks and meals
