Duties
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis including variance analysis reporting, profit & loss assessments, and financial statement interpretation to identify trends and inform strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain complex financial projection models and financial report writing to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Perform cost accounting and pricing analysis to optimize profit margins and support sales strategies.
- Utilize business intelligence tools and financial reporting software to gather insights, generate reports, and facilitate data analysis skills across various departments.
- Assist with corporate accounting functions including account analysis, financial statement preparation, and the interpretation of financial concepts for management review.
- Support internal controls by participating in SOX compliance activities and maintaining accurate accounting systems records.
Skills
- Strong understanding of financial concepts such as financial forecasting analysis, budgeting, and financial management.
- Proficiency in Excel data analysis, financial modeling development, and the use of financial reporting software.
- Experience with IFRS, GAAP, regulatory reporting, and technical accounting standards.
- Demonstrated ability in variance analysis reporting, profit & loss management, and organizational skills for multitasking across multiple projects.
- Knowledge of corporate finance principles including investment evaluation, pricing strategies, and sales support.
- Excellent data analysis skills combined with quantitative analysis expertise to interpret complex datasets effectively.
- Familiarity with accounting systems and finance software that enhance efficiency in financial report writing and interpretation.
- Strong communication skills for clear presentation of financial reports and insights to diverse audiences.
