Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations within a dietary supplement manufacturing or distribution environment. This position is responsible for receiving, shipping, storing, and distributing raw materials and finished products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials, components, and products against packing slips and purchase orders
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage raw materials or finished goods for internal production or outbound shipments
- Label and store materials and products in designated locations following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine cycle counts and support full physical inventory activities
- Assist in preparing documentation for inventory transactions, including lot tracking and traceability
- Report any damaged or expired materials, discrepancies, or safety concerns to management
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements (FDA, cGMP, OSHA)
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience operating a Reach truck
- Basic math and computer literacy (email, data entry)
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physical labor for extended periods
- Forklift certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move materials and products up to 50 lbs
- Occasional use of ladders or lifts for high storage access
