Position Summary
The Carhop/ Kolache Crew Team Member is responsible for delivering fast, friendly, and accurate service to guests using the drive-thru lane and window. This role is critical to creating an exceptional first impression and ensuring an efficient, high-quality guest experience through order accuracy, speed of service, and warm hospitality. The Kolache Crew position is responsible for correctly bagging guest orders through a kitchen display screen and is interchangeable with the car hop position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and professionally at the drive-thru lane/window
- Take guest orders accurately using the Toast POS system
- Repeat orders to confirm accuracy and clarify modifications
- Answer menu questions and make product recommendations
- Maintain a friendly, upbeat, and guest-first attitude always
- Process cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately
- Verify orders before handing them to guests
- Communicate clearly with expeditor to ensure order accuracy when needed
- Resolve minor guest concerns politely and escalate issues when needed
- Meet or exceed drive-thru speed-of-service goals during peak hours
- Maintain proper order flow to minimize wait times
- Keep drive-thru lane/window, POS station, and surrounding areas clean and organized
- Accurately bag orders through a kitchen display system
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cash-handling procedures
- Work collaboratively with front-of-house team members
- Support opening and closing duties as assigned
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and attendance standards
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support bakery operations
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous drive-thru, quick service, or customer/guest service experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and handle bakery materials safely.
- Ability to work under various weather conditions including cold and hot weather.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a bakery setting, requiring interaction with customers and staff. The environment may involve exposure to warm temperatures and bakery aromas. Professional appearance and adherence to company uniform and grooming standards are required.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
