Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing, chopping, and assembling ingredients following established recipes and safety protocols
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, ovens, and other culinary tools
- Follow food handling guidelines to ensure proper hygiene and prevent contamination
- Support menu planning by preparing ingredients and dishes according to specified standards
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal production and ensure timely service
- Adhere strictly to safety standards in food production, storage, and handling procedures
Skills
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant settings
- good knife skills with proficiency in slicing and recipe adherence
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and food handling regulations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow
- Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is a plus
- Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
