Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs such as engine repairs, welding, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
- Service vehicles by replacing components.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly to customers while providing excellent customer service.
- Stay current with industry trends and manufacturer updates to ensure all repairs meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Proven service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, ADAS technology, and powertrain components.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance.
- Proficiency with automotive diagnostics tools and auto estimating software is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Valid mechanic license or certification is highly desirable; ongoing training or ASE certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
