We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Risk Operations Specialist to join our team. In this vital role, you will assist in the placing of new business for life, disability, and long-term care insurances as well as fixed annuities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Insurance carrier communications for all pending business.
- Opening/closing cases and shopping most suitable options.
- Answering questions from advisors and their staff as well as aiding with requests and requirements to move business forward.
- Adhere to standards of execution for case management.
- Escalate requests and requirements when front line case management cannot progress.
- Monitor carrier speed of service and identify common bottlenecks.
- Report on KPIs for pending business to management.
- Export closed business for in-force reporting.
- Vet/correct agent code issues.
- Order and process medical underwriting information/requirements if needed
This role may also expand over time to support new and in-force business.
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Any past experience in life insurance case management is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
