Job description
Primarily will provide nursing support to clients in our new adolescent residential care facility in Toquerville. Primary training and orientation will occur at our Hildale, Utah facility and may also occasionally work at the Hildale facility.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to Healthcare Director
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs and documents complete nursing assessments on clients on intake and monthly thereafter
- Medication administration
- Monitors medication side effects
- Contacts physicians as needed
- Coordinates medical care
- Completes assessments for medical situations that need more intense or emergency care and referring residents to doctor, emergency room, or ambulance when necessary providing minor medical care on site
- Performs minor medical care
- Communicates with parents or legal guardians about medical needs
- May occasionally work a variety of shifts at the Hildale location
Pay: $37.00 - $40.00 per hour
