Summary
We are seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at the Skin Cancer Center of Central Florida. In this role, you will support our healthcare providers in delivering exceptional care to patients, assisting with various clinical tasks that contribute to the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications as directed by physicians.
- Take and record vital signs accurately for all patients.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and answering questions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
- Manage patient flow and ensure efficient scheduling of appointments.
- Document patient information in electronic health records (EHR) accurately and promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dermatology and outpatient care.
- Experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with patients of all ages.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
