American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position in Edmond, OK, requiring a minimum of one year of nursing experience and AHA-issued certifications for a 13-week night shift contract.

Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)

Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)

Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — no other issuing bodies accepted

Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Proficiency in nursing assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Responsible for managing an assigned patient group, administering medications, monitoring physiological data, and initiating and regulating IV infusions and blood products

Collaborates with physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, and coordinates care referrals as needed

Educates patients and families on care plans and hospital procedures throughout the stay and at discharge

Delegates appropriate tasks to support staff

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after 26 cumulative weeks before being eligible for another contract

Compliance requirements are strictly enforced — candidates should be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon acceptance
