Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender / server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. Experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or catering is highly desirable. You will need to be cross trained to serve also and do both.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper storage of supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Adhere to food safety and handling regulations while preparing drinks and serving food items.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during banquets and special events.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
Requirements
- Previous bartending or restaurant experience is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations in the food industry.
- Proficient in using POS systems; experience with Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the establishment.
