Job Description:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) on our Detoxification Unit, you will play a crucial role in supporting the healthcare team in providing compassionate and effective patient care. You will work closely with the nurses and other medical professionals to ensure the well-being of our patients during their detoxification process.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior.
- Provide personal care and support to patients, including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Document patient observations and interactions accurately in medical records.
- Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification.
- Valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) License.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Previous experience in a detoxification or similar healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
