Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and dependable General Labor team members to join our manufacturing facility during the afternoon shift from 3PM to 12:30AM. In this vital role, you will support daily production operations by handling materials, operating packaging equipment, and ensuring safety standards are maintained throughout the facility. Responsibilities
- Assist with materials handling, including loading, unloading, and organizing raw materials and finished products using material handling equipment such as forklifts.
- Operate packaging machinery and equipment following manufacturing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure efficient production flow.
- Interpret production documents accurately to support assembly, packaging, and quality control processes.
- Conduct routine mechanical troubleshooting on industrial equipment to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and safety standards in production environments.
- Perform heavy lifting as needed while maintaining proper ergonomic techniques to prevent injury.
- Support warehouse operations by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and inventory accuracy within the facility.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of industrial equipment troubleshooting and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with packaging equipment and materials handling tools such as hand tools and forklifts; forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to interpret manufacturing documents and understand production workflows.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
- Knowledge of GMP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, and safety standards applicable in manufacturing settings.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety protocol adherence and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Warehouse experience including inventory management, material handling, and operation of material handling equipment.
