An upscale Asian fine dining restaurant is looking for a professional and passionate Sushi Chef to join our team. Duties
- Prepare sushi, sashimi, and other Japanese cuisine dishes according to restaurant standards.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and freshness of fish and ingredients.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Work efficiently with the kitchen team during busy service hours.
- Assist with new menu items and seasonal specials.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Sushi Chef in upscale or fine dining restaurants.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and seafood handling standards.
- Professionalism, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
