Position Summary:
STARPLUS ENERGY is looking for a dynamic Direct Material Member. In this role you are responsible for the process of cell component purchasing work. The procurement team needs a coordinator who will be responsible for the ordering of materials, supplies, and/or equipment. The candidate will be responsible for learning company purchasing procedures and policies and will interface closely with Inventory manager in maintaining a supply of inventory levels required for an effective company operation. Identify problems in group work and make an effort to improve or resolve them. When an emergency issue occurs, report it and work together with the relevant personnel to resolve the issue. This position reports to the Procurement Manager
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee Purchasing, inventory control, and shipping/receiving strategies to ensure 100% alignment with long-term production forecasts and production targets.
- Manage the full Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle, from requisition and issuance to discrepancy resolution and final closure, ensuring financial and contractual accuracy.
- Control the material supply chain by optimizing Lead Times and leveraging MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to synchronize procurement with production demand.
- Manage inbound freight and logistics operations, coordinating with carriers and customs clearance agencies to ensure the efficient, on-time arrival of materials.
- Manage inventory levels to guarantee timely deliveries and support year-end physical inventory procedures
- Prepare detailed performance, inventory, and issue reports for senior management and facilitate communication with parent companies and relevant departments
- Contribute to developing and implementing strategies to improve purchasing performance, cost management, supply stability, and quality
- Maintain the Supplier Performance Rating System and stay updated on market trends and technology.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
Basic:
- Minimum Age: 18 years old
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Auto-Industry
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- While travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
Preferred:
- Bilingual in English/Korean
- Extensive knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel, MS Access, or other data base applications
Working Conditions:
- Ability to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work around the potential exposure to dust and chemicals
- Ability to wear appropriate PPE as deemed essential for the job function
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

Additional Details : Salary within the posted range is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
