About Us
Eastern Drayage is one of the largest logistics companies specializing in port operations. In simple terms — when a shipping container arrives at a port, we are the trucks that pick it up and move it to its next destination, warehouse, distribution center etc. We operate 300+ trucks across major ports including NY/NJ, Baltimore, Savannah, Houston, and LA/Long Beach.
In addition to port pickups, we offer transloading services — where cargo is transferred from one container or mode of transportation into another — as well as specialized moving of oversized and refrigerated freight. Our customers are importers, manufacturers, retailers, and distributors who need their goods moved efficiently from port to door.
About the Role
We are looking for a driven Outreach Specialist to grow our customer base. This is a phone and email heavy role. You will be reaching out to potential customers daily, introducing our services, and converting prospects into long-term relationships. No logistics experience required — we will teach you the business. What we are looking for is someone driven, persistent, and motivated to win. If you thrive on outreach, love building relationships, and do not take no for an answer, this role is for you.
What You'll Do
- Make high-volume outbound calls and send personalized emails to prospective customers daily
- Target shippers, importers, and distributors who move freight through major U.S. ports
- Educate prospects on our services — port pickups, transloading, oversized freight, and refrigerated cargo
- Build relationships with decision makers and move them through the sales process
- Follow up consistently and persistently until you get a yes or a no
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activity and pipeline
- Work closely with operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new customers
What We're Looking For
- Strong cold caller — comfortable picking up the phone and talking to anyone
- Excellent written communication — your emails are personalized, sharp, and get responses
- Persistent and resilient — rejection doesn't slow you down
- Self-motivated and accountable — you hit your numbers without being micromanaged
- Logistics or freight experience a plus but absolutely not required

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
