Job Overview
- Create and maintain wiring harness drawings and documentation using AutoCAD
- Develop solid models, concepts, and layouts for powersport vehicle accessories
- Design around and modify customer-supplied CAD files
- Create dimensional drawings for domestic and foreign manufacturing
- Develop engineering part and assembly drawings in SolidWorks
- Assist in producing and testing prototypes for form, fit, and function
- Assist in creating Bills of Materials and installation instructions
- Update engineering drawings to reflect product changes and improvements
Experience Requirements
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, particularly for wiring harness and schematic drawings
- Working knowledge of SolidWorks and 3D modeling
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and electronic schematics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Education Requirements
· 1–3 years of drafting or design experience (internship or co-op experience considered)
· Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D, particularly for wiring harness and schematic drawings
· Working knowledge of SolidWorks; 3D modeling experience preferred
· Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and electronic schematics
· Familiarity with manufacturing processes (sheet metal, injection molding, etc.) is a plus
· Experience with 12V products or familiarity with SSV Works products is a plus
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
