Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection for pizza offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other culinary tools
- Ensure all food preparation meets food safety regulations and standards
- Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, particularly with pizza or similar cuisine
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience with menu planning and meal preparation in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Previous experience in culinary roles such as dietary aide, catering, or fine dining is a plus
- Familiarity with the food industry, including kitchen operations and food service protocols
