Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure and data center solutions, is seeking a dedicated Data Center Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Data Center Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Infrastructure Development Department supporting various engineering initiatives. What's the Job?
- Contribute immediately to infrastructure planning, expansion, and modernization projects with minimal ramp-up time.
- Design and implement electrical power distribution systems, including generator, UPS, switchgear, and utility infrastructure engineering.
- Develop cooling plant and mechanical infrastructure designs to support data center operations.
- Engage in capacity planning, infrastructure modeling, and resiliency engineering to ensure high availability.
- Lead commissioning activities, including testing and validation of mechanical, electrical, and fire suppression systems.
What's Needed?
- Typically 5+ years of experience in Data Center, Critical Systems, or related infrastructure engineering disciplines.
- Proven experience supporting data center engineering, construction, upgrades, or integration activities within large or multisite environments.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment, availability concepts, and resiliency planning for critical infrastructure.
- Familiarity with data center technologies, monitoring tools, and infrastructure management systems (e.g., power, cooling, telemetry, DCIM).
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
