Dickey Transport is a family-run trucking company based in Packwood, Iowa. For decades, we've built our reputation around reliability, respect, and taking care of the people behind the wheel. We specialize in temperature-controlled freight for major customers including JBS and Hormel Foods.
We're hiring CDL Class A company drivers for our reefer fleet. This is a no-touch freight opportunity offering dependable miles, flexible dispatch, and weekly home time.
PAY & MILES
- $0.63 CPM base pay
- $0.03 CPM safety bonus – earn up to $0.66 CPM
- Average approximately 2,500 miles per week
- Paid for all loaded and unloaded miles
- Clean inspection bonus
HOME TIME
Our routes are designed to get drivers home weekly, with flexible weekly resets ranging from approximately 34–60 hours.
FREIGHT
- 100% refrigerated trailers
- No-touch freight
- Temperature-controlled freight for established customers including JBS and Hormel Foods

Drive late-model 2022–2025 Peterbilt trucks equipped with:
- Automatic transmissions
- Refrigerator

Job Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be able to operate as a company driver
- Must be willing to haul refrigerated freight
- Must be available for weekly routes with 34–60 hour home-time resets
- Must attend one-day orientation in Packwood, Iowa
- Must live within Dickey Transport's current hiring area:

- Northeast Missouri – including Memphis and Kirksville
- Eastern Nebraska – including the Omaha area
- Western Illinois – including Galesburg, Monmouth and Carthage
Additional qualification requirements may apply based on Dickey Transport's driver hiring standards.
Wage Range: 0.66 - 0.66 per mile
General Description of Benefits: Earn $0.63 CPM base pay plus a $0.03 CPM safety bonus for up to $0.66 CPM. Drivers average approximately 2,500 miles per week and are paid for all loaded and unloaded miles. Benefits include health and dental insurance, company-paid vision and life insurance, clean inspection bonuses, and one week of paid vacation after one year.
