Travel Physical Therapist - Acute Care Hospital

Job Details

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an Acute Care Hospital setting requiring pediatric experience at this critical access facility.

Current state PT licensure required if applicable
2 years of direct patient physical therapy care and treatment experience preferred
Rehabilitation hospital setting experience preferred
Pediatric experience required due to critical access facility status
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
Two professional references required for consideration

Provides direct patient care including functional needs evaluation and establishing plans of care
Conducts therapy practice within defined standards of care and modifies treatment as needed based on effectiveness
Assesses educational and cultural needs of patients, families, and caregivers to optimize care outcomes
Documents evaluations, treatment goals, and plans in accordance with hospital requirements
Regularly updates documentation and prepares discharge plans
Coordinates and supervises staff as needed
Applies age-specific standards, policies, and procedures in patient care
