American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN - Labor & Delivery for a 13-week travel contract in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and an active OK or Compact RN license.

Family Birth Place unit with 15 labor beds, 7 antepartum beds, and 4 pre/post beds

Day shift schedule, 3x12s (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Patient ratios of 1:1 or 2:1
-
External fetal monitoring equipment used

EMR: Epic
-
Floating may be required to the postpartum unit
-
No on-call requirements
-
Weekends required as determined by facility
-
Active OK or Compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, C-EFM, and NRP
-
Minimum 2 years of labor & delivery experience at a hospital delivering 350–400 patients per month
-
Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted)
-
No gaps in employment of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless documented renewal is scheduled

ACLS and PALS are preferred but not required

Black scrubs required

Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate
-
Candidates living within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or reassignment outside the 50-mile radius is required
-
Up to 5 days of requested time off (RTO) is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
