Job Status:

Full-Time, Benefits Eligible. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Salary:

$44,404 - $52,240 annually

SUMMARY:

This position will perform advanced customer service activities while providing timely and accurate information to litigant inquiries and/or complaints. The use of multiple communication channels will be utilized by the Specialist. The focus will be child/spousal support payments and other Court related matters for Family Division cases; and ensure professional and courteous client service.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education post high school preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to handle in-person inquiries and telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment while dealing with the public.
Two years related experience in a customer service or public service environment preferred.
Good mathematical and analytical skills necessary to research and explain case and financial information.
Computer skills, typing and/or data entry skills; Windows environment, Microsoft Office, TEAMs and Outlook experience preferred.
Good writing and composition skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist litigants in-person, over the phone, or via email.
Use, troubleshoot, and manage a variety of customer service management/check-in systems.
Receive and process in-person inquiries, mail-imaging Tasks, and email inquiries to provide information to litigants, attorneys and Family Division staff; check-in and route litigants.
Research case specific information via various available resources.
Email appropriate documents and/or forms based on requests and needs of litigants.
Access and verify demographic information given by the litigant; update computer screens.
Develop and maintain ability to identify and assist litigants of Inter-County, interstate, international, and Tribal cases. Identify issues that need referrals to the client service department.
Respond to the litigants' questions and comments, giving detailed descriptions; update NOTE screen.
Maintain full knowledge of e-PACSES systems and ability to maneuver accurately and through screens.
Receive Pro Se Motions from litigants and take all actions needed to research, review, and schedule appropriately.
Provide on-site essential coverage when required.
