Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician for a 8-week contract assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong sterile processing experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities:
- Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and quality assurance processes.
- Prepare instrument trays and case carts for surgical procedures.
- Float within the department as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Sterile Processing Technician experience
- Sterile Processing Technician Certification required (CRCST, CBSPD, or equivalent)
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and knowledge of sterilization processes
Contract Details:
- 8-Week Assignment
- 8-Hour Night Shifts
- Local and Travel candidates accepted (Local rate applies)
- Floating may be required
