Duties
- Prepare food items according to company recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and following food safety protocols
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Support food handling procedures, including proper storage, portioning, and food safety compliance
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and friendly demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within quick service or fast food restaurants
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order accuracy
- Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous restaurant or café experience is advantageous; experience in retail or grocery stores is also relevant
