Our program is currently looking to hire an experienced Lead Teacher to join our young toddler classroom team to work along side a tenured Co-Lead. Lead Teachers are responsible for the daily operations of their classroom in terms of logistics, caregiving, and curriculum; they work alongside Co-Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and Support Staff. We are seeking teachers who value children’s perspectives, approach interactions with positivity, and are experienced in the process of observation, reflection, and documentation. People who are drawn to collaboration, curiosity & intentionality, and who enjoy forming meaningful relationships with the children and families in their care typically thrive in our community. Minimum Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
2 or more years experience as a Lead Teacher working with Toddlers
Experience engaging with emergent curriculum and the process of observation, reflection, and pedagogical documentation
