Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our baking manufacturing team in Lenexa, KS.
This is a 90-day temp-to-hire opportunity. Successful employees may be offered permanent employment with the client upon successful completion of the introductory period.
Starting Pay: $21.22/hour - you will be paid weekly
Schedule
Production Associates work 12-hour shifts that includes weekends and holidays.
Available Shifts:
- Day Shift: 5:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Night Shift: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m.
Typical schedule consists of:
- Three (3) 12-hour shifts
- One (1) 6-hour shift each week
- Every other week includes a 3-day weekend
What You'll Do
As a Production Associate, you'll help produce some of the nation's favorite bakery products while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include:
- Operate production equipment following established procedures.
- Prepare, assemble, package, and inspect bakery products.
- Maintain product quality and food safety standards throughout production.
- Perform quality checks and report any defects or equipment issues.
- Package and label finished products.
- Handle raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.
- Keep work areas clean and organized following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Follow all company safety policies, food safety requirements, and work procedures.
- Meet daily production goals while working as part of a team.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
Qualifications
- No previous manufacturing experience required—we will train the right candidates.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Dependable with excellent attendance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Comfortable working around food products while following sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours.
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive hand movements.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures throughout the production facility.
- Ability to safely perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
