Location: Fresno, CA (Serving Central California)
Dry Creek Construction is a growing company specializing in insurance repairs, and we take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship with integrity and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Drywall Hanger & Finisher/Painter to join our expanding team.
Responsibilities:
- Install drywall panels on walls and ceilings in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Finish drywall, including taping, mudding, sanding, and patching, to create smooth, paint-ready surfaces.
- Apply and match textures on new and existing walls.
- Scrape, sand, and remove old paint. Fill cracks, holes, and dents with putty, plaster, or caulk to create smooth surfaces.
- Protect furniture, flooring, and fixtures with drop cloths, masking tape, and tarps before beginning work.
- Apply primers, paints, stains, and protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or industrial sprayers.
- Measure, mix, and match paint or other finishes to client specifications or architectural plans.
- Clean and maintain brushes, spray equipment, ladders, and scaffolding, and keep the work area tidy.
Requirements:
- Must have 4 years of relative experience.
- Must have own transportation and tools.
- Ability to work efficiently and professionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Clean DMV record, background check, and drug testing required.
- Early start times are required.
